This year we are continuing to help the isolated elderly and supporting the Christmas day lunch at Hospital Street Methodist Church. As in previous years we will be giving a Christmas parcel to every person who attends the lunch who is on their own this Christmas. We like to make the parcels as identical as possible and are looking for donations of individual Christmas puddings, tins of salmon and boxes of chocolates. We will be making up 60 parcels in total.
These parcels are lovingly wrapped and make a big difference to those who receive them, who may not receive anything at Christmas time other than this small gesture. Give a little to make a big difference.
