Your business could help us make a real difference in the local community.

“Anyone can hit upon hard times. Without this charity, the people who donate, the caring and wonderful people who give their time to selflessly help others and the compassion shown by the team, I’m not sure what we would have done.”

The support of local and national businesses is vital to the running of our foodbank. We’d love your business to help us tackle food poverty on your doorstep. There are lots of ways to get involved, from volunteering with us a team building activity, to sharing your expertise.

  • Organise a fundraising event to help make sure that no-one has to go hungry.
  • Sponsor or donate equipment to help with the day-to-day running of the foodbank.
  • Hold a team building day – volunteer with us and see how many food donations your team can sort and pack for people in crisis.
  • Ask your staff to share their workplace skills with our volunteers to make us more effective.
  • Run a food drive at your offices.

If your company shares our belief that no-one should go hungry in our local area, we would love to hear from you.

YMCA Crewe receives Christmas parcels from Nantwich Food Bank.

For the past few years, Nantwich Food Bank have generously provided YMCA Crewe service users with Christmas parcels. This year, they have supplied us with over 80 parcels, one for each YMCA Crewe resident in our main services and our properties in the community (including an extra one for a baby!). The parcels will be given out on Christmas Day and include toiletries and Christmassy food. We are extremely grateful for these vital donations and would like to thank Nantwich Food Bank for their continued support of our residents. Without these donations, we wouldn’t be able to provide these parcels for our residents.

One YMCA Crewe resident that received a parcel (last year) said;

I came to the YMCA on my own, and it was nice to receive something from someone on Christmas day. It’s nice to know there are people out there thinking of people that haven’t got much.

– Becky Parke, YMCA Crewe

Nantwich Town Council  have been long-term supporters of the Foodbank. We thank them for their continued support.

We wanted to support a charity that was a direct benefit of our local community and where our donations would make a tangible difference. The Nantwich Food bank was an obvious choice.

It’s been humbling to see how much of the food bank has helped local people who are in a difficult circumstances through no fault of their own. It’s a terrific charity run by committed, enthusiastic people and one we’ll be continuing to support.

– Sue Lenton, Weaver and Bomfords
